About the Artist

Michael Goodlett, a native of Wilmore, Kentucky, has become widely known in Kentucky and Ohio for his intricate shadow-box assemblages. He received his BFA from the Art Academy of Cincinnati in 1982 and has participated in group and solo exhibitions in Kentucky, Ohio, Illinois, and California. Goodlett was also awarded the Kentucky Arts Council's prestigious Individual Artist Grant in 1998 and the Al Smith Individual Artist Fellowship in 2006.
