About the Artist

Bill Santen is a native of Lexington, KY and is currently enrolled in the University of Kentucky College of Fine Arts. He is a musician as well as a visual artist and founded the experimental folk/rock group, Birddog. Santen has exhibited in Lexington, Louisville, Nashville, Detroit, and Philadelphia; and has received numerous awards, including the Transylvania University Guest Artist Award and a Gaines Fellowship.
