TOGETHER AGAIN FOR THE FIRST TIME:
New Paintings by Robert Tharsing and Patrick Adams

April 18 through June 8, 2008

The Ann Tower Gallery is pleased to present new paintings by two of the region’s most talented and productive artists, Robert Tharsing, a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Art at the University of Kentucky and Patrick Adams, a successful professional artist who studied with Tharsing while earning a Master of Fine Arts degree at UK in 1992. Tharsing and Adams have participated in a number of group exhibitions during the intervening years and admire one another’s work, but this is the first time they have been featured together with several new paintings by each.

The Seen and the Imagined:
New Paintings by Ann Tower and Lina Tharsing

Ann Tower and Lina Tharsing are having their first exhibition together, “The Seen and the Imagined: New Paintings by Ann Tower and Lina Tharsing,” at the Montgomery County Council for the Arts Gallery, 44 East Main Street in Mt. Sterling, Ky. The exhibition will open with a reception for the artists on Friday May 9, from 4:30 to 7 pm, and will run through May 30. Gallery hours are 10 am to 5pm Tuesdays through Fridays, and 11:30 to 4:30 on Saturdays.
